exceptionally low volatility and extremely high resistance to degradation from heat,

longer fluid life, cleaner vacuums, and better pump down times than hydrocarbons and

compatible with most metals and elastomers, commonly used in high temperature
applications and does not react with the gases most commonly found in high vacuum
